Sneaker sizes run by centimetre, not label
For kicks, the EU and US labels drift between batches and fakes. The only honest number is the cm foot length on the product. Size to your larger foot and the tag is just a suggestion.

Cm is the only honest number
EU 42 in one batch may fit like 43 in another, and reps run narrow. The cm foot length printed on the insole is the constant — size to that, not the letter.
Measure your foot flat, heel to toe, in cm. That number beats any label when batches drift.
Size to the larger foot
Most people have one foot bigger. Buy for the larger one; a thin insole fixes the other. Sneakers don't stretch like leather, so going small is permanent.
If you're between sizes, the larger one with a lace tighter is safer than a tight pair you can't wear.
Width matters more than length
Reps and some batches run narrow. If your foot is wide, size up a half or the side pressure never goes away. Length alone won't save a narrow pair.
Read buyer notes for 'runs narrow' or 'true to size'. On grails that line is the whole sizing answer.
Apparel runs slim
Hyped tees and reps cut slim. A 170/60 buyer taking L is the norm; don't trust the tag, trust the note. Oversized fits are the exception, not the rule.
When in doubt, size up once on apparel. A slightly loose grail tee reads better than a suffocating one.
No swaps across the border
You're shipping through an agent from Asia. There is no 'swap a size'. Wrong size means a second order or a closet orphan. On a grail, that's real money lost.
That's why the cm note matters more than the tag. Someone wore your size; read it like the only review that counts.
FAQ
Do sneaker sizes run small?
Labels drift between batches and reps run narrow. Size to the cm foot length on the product and the larger foot; trust buyer notes over the printed tag.
How do I convert my size?
Use the cm foot length, not a generic EU/US chart. Asian batches cut to their chart, so a '42' here may differ there.
What if there's no size info?
Slow down, read reviews for fit before ordering. A wrong size on a grail means a second order — no swaps across the border.
